Building Bridges to Careers is hosting the Family Career Awareness Day , this will be a prime opportunity for students and their families to explore potential careers that interest them and network with real professionals in those fields. For more information email klwebber@bb2careers.org

Parents/Guardians of 8th Grade Students going on the Gettysburg trip:
Please make sure students are dropped off by 6 a.m. tomorrow morning ( 208 Davis Avenue) so we can get loaded up and leave the school by 6:30. Students who are not on the bus by 6:30 will miss their opportunity to go on the trip. Also - we ask that if students bring snacks, they DO NOT contain nuts in any form. We'll see you bright and early tomorrow!

The Winter Mandatory OHSAA meeting is scheduled for tonight at 6:30pm in the MHS Auditorium! This is for all 7th-12th grade students hoping to play a winter sport and their parents!
Special guest speaker and former Olympian Ruthie Bolton will speak at 7pm! All are welcome to attend!

The official pizza of Marietta City Schools Donato's is holding a fundraiser for Marietta High School Baseball on October 20th. 15% of all sales on this day will go directly to the baseball team, so make sure you get some great pizza and help support the baseball team!


Parents & Guardians - We are moving picture retake day to November 3rd due to the original pictures not being sent on time. According to the picture company representative, they were shipped out yesterday. We should see them here in the next week or so.

Homecoming Friday is upon us!! There will be several activities tomorrow that we hope all of our students take advantage of!!
1- Dress up Day!
Orange & Black Day!! Let's try to get to 500 students participating tomorrow!!
2. Winning class announced - Every Student in the Winning Class will get free admission into the HC football game!!
3. FREE HC Dance Tickets will be drawn at 9:00 am Tomorrow- Winners will be announced shortly after!
4. Pep Rally- Approximately 1:50 pm
5. HC Parade! Would love to see 75 plus students per grade level participating in HC Parade! Meet at MES at 5:15pm- depart approximately 5:45 pm
6. HC Game and Hall Of Fame Game- 7pm

Seniors- Lilly Westbrock did a wonderful job working with sponsors to provide free class shirts to every Senior in the Class of 2024.
Seniors can pick up their shirts in the main office at Marietta High School- please see school secretary to pick up your shirt!!

Homecoming Week is upon us!! Many activities and events will be ongoing this week leading up to the football game on Friday!
Tomorrow is USA dress up day!!
Reminder that the class with the largest percentage of participation during dress up days will be able to get into the football game Friday night for free!
Also- students in grades 9th-12th who participate in Dress up days will get their names put in for a drawing for free homecoming dance tickets!!

Financial Aid Night will be on November 15th at 6pm in the MHS Auditorium. School counselors and a representative from Washington State Community College will be on hand to answer any questions students might have about the financial aid application process.
