Tuesday, November 22nd is a big day for Marietta High School students and staff!! This is the 2nd annual Career Day at MHS and we are expecting 86 presenters to the high school campus!!! Career Day has been a goal and mission of mine for some time now and I am excited about the possibilities of the program moving forward to expand on this vision!! The landscape of education is ever so changing and the challenges behind these changes are vastly different than they were just 5 years ago!! Making connections and building networks within the community and around the state is an invaluable asset!! Career Day is intended to educate, inform and bring awareness to the variety of career clusters and career related fields that we have in our surrounding communities and beyond! November 22nd will be one of the most important days of our student's 2022-2023 school journey!! With that being said, attendance is mandatory and for any student who is absent without a medical excuse, that student will be required to complete an alternate assignment that will aim to accomplish the same goals and objectives as the November 22nd Career Day! For our Senior Class, this is also a required assignment to complete the Senior Capstone Project.
